Speaking Truth for the People
Joe Aleman is a congressional candidate for the 23rd District of California. He describes himself as a pragmatic Republican with God-worthy aspirations of inspiring entrepreneurship, public safety innovations, humane healthcare, and job growth. By nature and experience, Joe is a theologian and small business owner whom only recently jumped into the political world because he felt the new healthcare bill was inhumane and crafted by someone ignorant of the economic plight of those in Tulare County, Kern County, and the 23rd District.
"We need an economic plan that includes everyone. Yes, the poor, middle class, and rich ambitious folks too. Waiting around for oil prices to rise in Bakersfield and blaming democrats for every ill of society is no plan. We need jobs not war. We need new industries to raise up the poor and insure a strong middle class. I voted for Kevin McCarthy, but after reviewing Kevincare, I don't think our future is in good hands. I envision a very different future for us all..."
In addition to providing the constituents of the 23rd District with an alternative to Kevin McCarthy, he hopes to invigorate a new type of discourse with regards to the poor, middle class, national unity, God, and thankfulness. Joe Aleman graduated from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and Multnomah Bible College. He also did extended studies at Harvard Divinity, but started his academic career at local Bakersfield College.
Where Joe stands on major issues:
Taxes: Reduce taxes on the lower/middle class and small businesses, before corporations.
National Debt: Start to cut spending and renegotiate NAFTA immediately
Welfare: Cut out all corporate welfare first and then we can talk about starving the poor
Healthcare: First negotiate with big pharma, insurers, hospitals, drug companies, stakeholders, and then start to write a healthcare bill
Illegal aliens: We need law and order. Poor and jobless Americans need us first and foremost.
Abortion: Pro-life (Defund Planned Parenthood and require ultra-sounds)
Former Church Planter, Professor, Missionary, Small Business Owner, and Artistic Entrepreneur.
We need to create an innovation ecosystem in the 23rd District of California.
People will ask what I have to offer as a congressman. Why should we elect Joe Aleman and part ways with Kevin McCarthy? Well, here is an image I made to highlight my agenda for this district. I want to create an innovation ecosystem to help students and entrepreneurs engage the new economy. Dreams and ideas need to be valued and uplifted in Bakersfield. We need to support startup companies through funding, mentoring, and by helping them build teams. If we remain stagnant globalization and automation will leave us with low paying jobs and ill-prepared children. We need a leader with eyes fixed on our future and not just the future of wall street and the GOP. I hope to launch the nations first Automation Park that will be equipped with a giant drone race track, an active 3D Home Printer, and robotics learning center. Incubators will also be planted throughout the district to serve as networking hubs and new company launch pads. Dream with me Kern County and let's secure a future for our children and young adults. If you've ever had a business idea, but felt you lacked support in our area, then you should Vote Joe in 2018.
When my party talks about cutting regulations, it's unfortunate they start with banks and not the middle class. The swamp seems more concerned with profits than people and small business retailers.
